Merry Christmas

Hello lovely people! Merry Christmas, I hope you are all loving your families right now!

This will be a short email. I was singing Christmas carols the majority of the week and it was the best ๐Ÿ™‚ Thank you all for the letters and packages, you are all amazing!ย

I just want each of you to know how much I love our Savior. Today we are celebrating His birth but more than that we are celebrating that He lived, died and LIVES AGAIN. His life was a gift to each of us and I am so grateful for that. I have come to love Him even more as I have seen Him change my life and those in California. He is the King of Kings, the Prince of Peace, Immanuel. We are each representatives of Him. He means so much to me.

Love you all! Here’s some pictures ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you don’t freeze, I’m chilling in cali in the 80 degrees!ย

Tamales and Christmas

So, if you haven’t been able to watch this Christmas video, watch it right now ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope you all had a fabulous week, because mine was pretty great. The spirit of Christmas really makes a difference in people’s lives. When you focus on CHRIST, everything gets better. I met some really cool people, one family even gave us some tamales! They were homemade and delicious. Another family that we didn’t even know until we knocked on their door invited us back to spend Christmas Eve with them! Isn’t it crazy that I can knock on a random door and be a stranger and 10 minutes later become their best friend? It’s probably only possible as a missionary, but I love it!

A lot went down this week but here are some of my highlights:

-Taught this awesome girl named Nashia (shay)ย

-Painted some cabinets for a lady who just had surgery

-Met this cool guy named Elder Patrick Kearon who has a British accent, and he taught us about attacking the morning as missionaries and being real with people

-Made some really good smoothies this week, I don’t know what it was but they were delicious.

-Also did some timed sprints, but I won’t tell you how slow I was ๐Ÿ™‚

-Met Christian who has the cutest little girl ever, I’m really excited to start teaching them!ย

That was my week in a nutshell, sorry I’m really bad at remembering my weekly emails!ย

MERRY CHRISTMAS, look for ways to make someone’s day this week!

“Burn it”

So California is burning up, but for some reason Whittier, CA is perfectly fine. We just get to smell a campfire for a while.

This week was a little slow, not much happened so I’m just going to throw some spiritual highlights out here ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope that you are ALL doing this, seriously. This is the time of year to SERVE. SERVE. SERVE. Will the presents really last that long? Probably not, so make some memories that will last a lifetime. “When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God.” Don’t forget about that.

2. 3 Nephi 18:32

“Come unto me with FULL PURPOSE OF HEART and I will HEAL them”

Here’s just a reminder that the Savior with his infinite and atoning power was sent here to HEAL all of us. All of us are broken in some way. We are broken and we need fixing. Well, that fixing can only come through the Savior of the world who we are celebrating the birth of this month. How grateful are you for what He has done? I don’t have words to describe how grateful I am for the gift of His life. I will never be able to repay what He has already done, but at least I can help share this gift with others.
